Ectomorph

An ectomorphic body type is one that is almost the direct opposite of the endomorph’s. Their bodies are dominated by lack of muscle tone and fat deposits giving them the “skinny” look. They have a very slight physique that is often made more obvious by their smaller bones and joint sizes. These individuals have a much leaner body with their arms and legs being decidedly thin thus contributing significantly to the “skinny” look we mentioned earlier.

Ectomorphs generally have very thin hair that is often fine to the point that they might bald easily at an early age. Their hair often grows fast and as such can often lead to them having a messy hair-do. They also have skin that is sensitive to bruising, cuts easily and also burns easily thus will often shy away from physical activity which can make matters even worst for them in the long-run.

These individuals are normally what we refer too as underweight and will normally suffer from a metabolism that is very high meaning they will have a very hard time maintaining muscle mass and also will loose fat very easily. These are the ones which often boast that they can eat any amount of food and still look the same.

Judging by the general appearance of ectomorphs many people will comment that they are borderline nutritionally deficient. Although this isn’t normally true some people have a ectomorphic physique for that very reason. This would include those supermodel types that seem to starve themselves just to get themselves that next important job. This is was we normally refer to as a forced ectomorph and is often quite a dangerous thing as it normally goes hand in hand with eating disorders and nutritional deficiencies.

Another type of ectomorphs are those that aren’t nutritionally deficient but rather have the ectomorphic physique because of their height. This is especially true for those basketball types that look really skinny but are very athletic. This stems from firstly their height but also from their longer arms and legs which can contribute significantly to the “stickman” look.

The classic ectomorph are those that we feel are going to focus on here. These individuals are the ones which have their metabolism levels so high that it is hard for them to put on weight and keep it on. The main focus for ectomorphs is to build muscles. This is especially true if they want their butt and thighs to good. They must have enough caloric intake so that they can maintain the muscles that they have built.

More people concentrate on the look of their butt than many people think. The perfect example of this are Hollywood stars who in addition to the many hours they spend on the rest of their body also devote a good amount of time shaping their butts to just the right shape.

The butt is one of the strongest muscles in the body but is rarely given any exercise. This is true for even those who will happily spend hours a day in the gym working on the rest of their bodies.  A simple program for the legs and back aren't enough to develop the butt. For the best results it is best to offer the butt its own exercise regime and program.

There are so many types of butts out there that there is no one beautiful standard that can encompass all. It is for that reason that each person must have their own image of what their butt should be and work towards it.
